The Kiwanis Duck Derby began in 2021 and is a unique fundraising event! Each duck supports the efforts of McHenry Kiwanis in serving youth in the McHenry area.
Adopt a duck and watch it float down Boone Creek at the Green Street Bridge along the Downtown Riverwalk.
Based on the total number of ducks adopted, 1st – 5th place cash prices will be awarded. Additional gift certificate awards for up to 20+ more winners! For our fourth year, we have 1000 ducks.
Anticipated awards (if all ducks are sold): 1st place = $500, 2nd place = $400, 3rd place = $300, 4th place = $200, 5th place = $100
Congratulations to the 2023 Lucky Duck Winners!!! Prizes not claimed can be picked up starting Monday, July 24 after 9 am at the McHenry Recreation Center, 3636 Municipal Drive, McHenry.
