The Kiwanis Duck Derby began in 2021 and is a unique fundraising event! Each duck supports the efforts of McHenry Kiwanis in serving youth in the McHenry area.
Adopt a duck and watch it float down Boone Creek at the Green Street Bridge along the Downtown Riverwalk.
Based on the total number of ducks adopted, 1st – 5th place cash prices will be awarded. Additional gift certificate awards for up to 20+ more winners! Our goal is to sell 1500 ducks.
Anticipated awards if 1000+ ducks are sold: 1st place = $500, 2nd place = $400, 3rd place = $300, 4th place = $200, 5th place = $100
Online registration: $5.25 with card per duck.
Same day registration at the event: $5.00 with cash or $5.25 with card per duck.
